It’s a celebration of heritage communities that includes architecture, culture, trails and some secrets...

...a time when Doors Open in a one-day event giving visitors an all-access pass to select heritage landmarks and buildings of special interest.

In its seventh year, Doors Open Fergus and Elora has 20 participants providing visitors with a behind the scenes look at both old and new.

Stay tuned for 2014 sites!!!. Historical tours: Fergus Library, 11 am; Elora Information Centre, 2 pm. Passports stamped at five sites have a chance to win an overnight stay courtesy of the Brew House on the Grand and Stonehurst B&B or a dinner for 2 at Cafe Creperie. A partnership with Heritage Centre Wellington, Elora Fergus Tourism and Ontario Heritage Trust, Doors Open is a province-wide initiative begun in 2002. Millions have attended.
